Peta Bailey, founder and owner of Yarn Safaris, grew up on a farm and has been knitting since she was five or six. She seeks out yarn shops wherever she travels and loves meeting shepherds and artisans who raise fiber animals on small farms and spin and dye their own yarns. She also enjoys spending time with fellow knitters and fiber enthusiasts.
Peta founded Yarn Safaris to share her passion for fiber arts with fellow enthusiasts (and to have an unlimited excuse to learn about fiber arts and visit yarn shops and wool festivals). She looks forward to meeting and getting to know many more fellow fiber fanatics.
